concept: In this case the area for the mural was located on the outside of a building in a thoroughfare. The mural is framed by a projecting roof that jutts out above it. I created a simple, light work with limited colours to blend in with the surrounding area and not to distract from the textures of the façade. Markings are used to emphasise movement and to recall a child’s brushstrokes, a motif that I have used in other works.
